Bridges to Learning Before and After School Programs

Our Bridges Program provides a fun, safe environment for your child before or after school hours. Staffed with certified teachers, para professionals, and local college students and adults, our program focuses on supporting healthy behavior, reinforcing academic skills, and promoting social and emotional growth. Open to students in grades Pre-K -8 at John Hill School, School Street School, and Boonton High School. Our Before School Care begins at 6:45AM. Our After School Care is available until 4PM or 6PM.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We welcome high school students to apply as volunteers in our Bridges to Learning after school Program(must be in 9th grade or higher). If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the attached application found HERE.

Summer Programs 

Bridges to Learning offers a variety of summer programs to keep your children entertained and engaged this summer!

Registration Opens Monday March 2nd. To Register Click HERE


There is a $15 per family non-refundable registration fee that is due upon registration for each program. Full payment is due May 15th. Once full payment is received, there are NO refunds.

*Our programs are Fully licensed and accept subsidy for qualifying families


Please note, many of these programs fill quickly. If you are interested please register early!

Pre-K Early Learner's Academy

for Incoming or Current Pre-K Students

Our Pre-K Early Learner's Academy, held at School Street School, is an opportunity for new Pre-K students to become familiar with our Pre-K Program, and allows current Pre-K students to reinforce skills learned during the school year. Taught by certified staff in a classroom setting. Open to incoming Pre-K students, current Pre-K students, and incoming Kindergarten students. 

Register by the week

June 29th- July 31st

AT THIS TIME, WE ONLY HAVE OPENINGS FOR STUDENTS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN NEXT YEAR. 

Half Day Option:     8AM -11AM   $140/week

Full Day Option:      8AM - 2PM    $255/week

        After Care:      2PM - 6PM    $140/week

After Camp Bridges

If your child is attending the Boonton Recreation Summer Camp program, Bridges to Learning offers an extended day option from 2PM - 6PM. Students will enjoy fun games, crafts, activities and a dedicated reading time each day. Open to students entering Kindergarten- 8th grade. Weekly registration available.

Summer Enrichment

Join Bridges to Learning for fun and engaging August programs taught by certified staff members. Each day will consist of games, crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, and a weekly theme. Morning and afternoon sessions available as well as before and after care.

Open to students entering grades K - 5

Weekly Programs August 3rd- August 14th

Morning Session      9AM - 12PM       $130/week

Aftrnoon Session    12PM - 3PM         $130/week

Before Care starting at 7:30AM           $40/week

After Care                 3PM - 6PM          $85/week

Summer Theater Program

SSS students are invited to join Music teacher Mrs Cunningham to build confidence and allow their creativity to shine in our popular summer theater program.  

July 6th - 10th at SSS

9AM - 1PM

$130/week

This program is open to students CURRENTLY in grades K, 1 and 2.  

Campers will experience different aspects of the dramatic arts through singing, dancing, acting, and improvisation, with a showcase style performance.
